                    Анотация: The article reveals the theoretical foundations of absenteeism as an indicator of the development of corporate culture. The essence and types of absenteeism are exposed. The causes of absenteeism are analyzed. It is proved that the corporate culture of the enterprise plays a decisive role in the management of absenteeism. The level of latent absenteeism at machine-building enterprises is revealed. Elements of a strategy for managing absenteeism are proposed
