Анотация: The article deals with the legal framework for regulating the activities of the media in Uzbekistan. The history of the right to information is studied; its reflection in the legislation of Uzbekistan is analyzed. Attention is paid to the aspects provided for in the existing legislation. The peculiarities of the forms of ownership of the media organization, their definition in the norms of the law, their peculiarities are studied.
