Анотация: The paper views with the interdisciplinary relations in the study of probability theory and mathematical statistics by students of the secondary vocational education (SPO) at the University. It is noted that there are different definitions of the concept of «interdisciplinary relations» and their classification, the article provides a brief overview of the literature sources of different authors devoted to this pedagogical category. For high-quality training of future specialists, an important role is played by the interdisciplinary relations’ highlighting and further consideration of their professional orientation in the selection of the educational subjects’ content. In this article the authors illustrate the presence of interdisciplinary relations on the example of
«Mathematics», «Probability theory and mathematical statistics» and «Statistics», due to the fact that «Probability theory and mathematical statistics», as an academic discipline, is closely interrelated with different subjects studied at the University. In addition, the paper presents the results of students of the College of Economics, Law and Informatics of Pitirim Sorokin Syktyvkar State University on the basis of an independent assessment in the framework of the project «Federal Internet exam in the field of professional education», as well as the results of testing students using the methodology of practical psychodiagnostics of Jim Barrett, which allows to determine the professionally significant qualities of students, and the results of a survey of students to analyze their satisfaction with the content and proposed methodology of teaching the discipline «Probability theory and mathematical statistics».
